The Pineapples

This series shows the development of a series of mouldings based on a stone original. The geometric precesion required to match the original can be seen in the photographic sequence.

The spirals on a pineapple involve something called the Fibonacci series, a mathematical sequence of numbers which is commonly replicated in nature.
